Distributed Model Predictive Control With Reconfigurable Terminal Ingredients for Reference Tracking

چکیده

Various efforts have been devoted to developing stabilizing distributed model predictive control (MPC) schemes for tracking piecewise constant references. In these schemes, terminal sets are usually computed offline and used in the MPC online phase guarantee recursive feasibility asymptotic stability. Maximal invariant do not necessarily respect structure of network, hindering implementation controller. On other hand, ellipsoidal structure, but may lead conservative schemes. this article, a novel scheme is proposed reference networked dynamical systems, where ingredients reconfigured depending on closed-loop states alleviate aforementioned issues. The resulting nonconvex infinite-dimensional problem approximated using quadratic program. tested simulation, solved optimization.

Model Predictive Control of Distributed Energy Resources with Predictive Set-Points for Grid-Connected Operation

This paper proposes an MPC - based (model predictive control) scheme to control active and reactive powers of DERs (distributed energy resources) in a grid - connected mode (either through a bus with its associated loads as a PCC (point of common coupling) or an MG (micro - grid)). DER may be a DG (distributed generation) or an ESS (energy storage system). In the proposed scheme, the set - poin...

Offset-free reference tracking with model predictive control

The standard way to achieve offset-free tracking in MPC is to add the disturbance dynamics to the prediction model and then use an observer to estimate the real disturbance. Existing algorithms only consider piecewise constant signals, while in practice it is often desirable to have a wider choice of reference and disturbance dynamics, such as sinusoids and ramps. This work provides a generaliz...

Model Predictive Control for Offset-Free Reference Tracking

Abstract — The paper deals with the offset-free reference tracking problem of the Model Predictive Control (MPC). That problem is considered for a class of the constant or occasionally changed constant reference signals. Proposed solution arises from a simple subtraction of the ARX model of two consecutive time steps. The solution is adapted to a state-space form and it corresponds to usual pre...

Reference Tracking using a Non-Cooperative Distributed Model Predictive Control Algorithm

In this paper, a non-cooperative distributed model predictive control (DMPC) algorithm for tracking constant references is developed and evaluated. As such, an augmented model is employed (i.e. the control loop is embedded with integrators) and the augmented state contains the state increments and the error between the reference and the predicted output. The algorithm is tested in real life exp...

Model Predictive Control for Mobile Robots with Actively Reconfigurable Chassis

Actively reconfigurable chassis enable planetary mobile robots to access more varieties of terrain. While typical approaches for exploiting such mechanisms reply on feedback control, it is beneficial to consider actively controlled elements at planning time rather than during motion execution. In this paper we present an approach for extending work in model-predictive trajectory generation to a...
